Where the Money Comes From
All Ohio vehicle owners have the opportunity to donate $1 to the Save Our Site Fund when applying for or renewing their motor vehicle registrations. The dollar may be added to their total registration fee whether the application is made by mail, telephone, on-line or in person with a deputy registrar. The Save Our Sight funds are collected by the Ohio Department of Public Safety and the Save Our Sight Program is administered by the Ohio Department of Health.
